Guide To The Material Here

There is quite a lot of material here. Here are five suggestions for easier entry into the material:

1. First Entry Point. List of Essential Articles.

This is a short list of articles that are good places to start. They give you some essential knowledge and also lead you to other articles, by following their internal links and going to other articles in their categories or in related categories.

This short list of articles gives you all the essentials. All the other articles here are more or less elaborations on themes in these essential articles. So, if you want to understand what is here, you can just read these articles. And if you want a more thorough understanding, you can then go on to where these lead you in the other articles.

2. Second Entry Point. The Article List By Category.

All articles are listed there under categories where they best belong. Most articles fall into more than one category, so they are listed in two or more categories. This is helpful because you can scan through the categories, choose what interests you, and then read a whole group of articles pertaining to the same topic. The category list will help you explore that area.

You can then go to another category and explore that area in the same manner. And so on . . .

Another thing you can do is follow links between articles, when present in an article. This helps you follow the thread of a topic, and thereby make interesting connections. You can also do this by exploring articles in categories that are related to the article you are reading. These related categories are found at the bottom of each article.

You can also access this through the side menu at the top right, under Info Pages.

3. Third Entry Point. The Article List By Date.

Sometimes there is a sequence to the articles. One article leads to another, and the ideas and insights in a previous article are elaborated upon or expanded by a later article, like the flow of a book. This is not always the case, but sometimes this approach to the material can be useful.

Unlike the Article List By Categories, this list does not contain any duplicate articles. It just gives you a list of each article in the order it was put up on the site. So if you want to see what is here as a sort of table of contents, this is a good entry point for that.

4. Fourth Entry Point. Most Recent Articles.

My latest articles are on this page, starting with the most recent at the top. Come back to this site from time to time to read the latest. Or better, subscribe to the RSS Feed, which will automatically notify you when a new article is posted. (Go here to find out what an RSS Feed is, and how to use it.)

5. Fifth Entry Point. Search

Us the Search box at the upper right corner to find any topic or word you are interested in. Then go and read articles that come up from that search.

You will find the greater context for all these articles in my other websites. They give overviews of the whole field, whereas this site gives details, elaborations and updates.

A Matrix Of Meaning

All of the material here is inter-related. The internet makes it possible to access material in both linear and non-linear ways. Actually, this is good for the kind of material that is here.

Words present a linear picture, but the best way to see this material would be as one whole picture all taken together at one time. Since this is impossible through the medium of words, hypertext is a good substitute. This means that you can explore what is here by jumping from place to place, following links, making associations between articles through related categories, etc. etc. (as presented above.) When you do this, gradually a whole picture will emerge - a matrix of meaning. It is this matrix of meaning that includes both whole and parts that I would like you to explore and find here.
